The pure-player Rue du Commerce (IT, high-tech) has operated an e-commerce digital marketplace since 2007 (according to our sources, GMV is in line with the market standards, at 70% and 30% of GMV respectively). Since the acquisition by Shopinvest in 2020, the marketplace has grown from 700 sellers to 1,000 at the end of December 2023. It recorded double-digit growth in 2021, 2022 and 2023. This marketplace, on a human scale, is managed by a team of 15 people dedicated to relations with sellers (starting on the Mirakl platform and configuring flows) with regular discussions.
