Julie Hamadouche Bottino, Ba&sh: “On each garment, a label details the CO2 generated, energy consumed and freshwater pollution”

Supported by Fairly Made in terms of traceability and involved in a relocation program, Ba&sh has been publishing a voluntary CSR report for 3 years and has just been certified B-Corp. Since January, labels display environmental impact QR codes on products. This is transforming a customer experience, both in store and online. Julie Hamadouche Bottino, Sustainability Manager, revealed the numbers.

On June 19, 2024, Ba&sh received B-Corp certification with a record score of 98 points. When did this work begin?

Julie Hamadouche Bottino: I joined Ba&sh 4 years ago to drive our sustainable transformation. In 2020, I filled in our first B-Corp questionnaire, and we obtained 54 points. In June 2024, we earned this certification with a score of 98 points. This is tangible recognition of our profound and rapid social and environmental transformation.  Joining this global community of companies committed to people and the planet is a source of great joy and pride. It is recognition of several years of perseverance, of a collective commitment at the highest level of the company, and of a rigorous 18-month evaluation process involving hundreds of hours of work.…
