Waste: Brussels wants binding targets for textiles and food

European deputies voted in July to ban the destruction of unsold clothing and electronics and the E.U. unveiled a new draft directive. This aims to reduce food waste in stores by 30% and to make textile manufacturers pay for discarded / unsold clothes.
