How will generative artificial intelligence revolutionise the world of work?

Generative artificial intelligences will revolutionise the world of work, primarily by enabling production at the speed of thought. The production effort, which is ultimately the most time-consuming stage in a design process will be completely taken over by machines. Generative artificial intelligences can help automate tasks that require in-depth analysis, thereby freeing up employee time. These technologies can also be used to speed up the decision-making process by providing faster information and analysis. However their productive use, while potentially creating economic value, will not enable humans to develop their own skills and knowledge. It will just make them AI workers.

Is the arrival of generative AI an opportunity or a danger?

As with all things innovative, there are both positive aspects and aspects that need attention, because they can profoundly destabilise society’s foundations.
