Crédit Agricole extends social rights with new global agreement

French banking group Crédit Agricole has stepped up its commitment on social topics by signing a new global agreement with UNI Global Union, covering human rights, fundamental labour rights, trade union rights and the continuous improvement of social dialogue. The agreement signed on 9 October provides a framework for remote work, considers the impact of new technology and introduces 28 days of paternity leave.

Crédit Agricole and the international trade union federation UNI Global Union signed a new four-year global agreement on 9 October, providing a common social reference framework for the 75,000 employees in the 46 countries where the French banking group operates (74% in the European Union). The agreement, which renews an initial agreement signed in 2019, reaffirms the group’s commitment to human rights, fundamental labour rights, trade union rights and the continuous improvement of social dialogue.…
