Iceland: new measures to attract foreign workers

On 08 March, Iceland’s government announced several changes to the country’s residency and employment regulations. The stated goal is to attract workers from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and retain international students at the end of their studies in order to "make Icelandic society more diverse and strengthen the economy for the future.”
