France: Emeis (formerly Orpea) launches ‘solidarity solutions’ programme for employees

France's second largest retirement home operator (28,000 employees) will soon become a mission-driven company. To embody its desire to assert itself as a "company with an extended social mission", Emeis is launching a programme of "solidarity solutions" for its employees based on four pillars: housing, health, loved ones and purchasing power. The group, which was rocked by a major crisis in 2022, wants to strengthen staff loyalty in this way.

Still in the process of financial recovery and seeking profitability, Emeis wants to continue to invest in employee loyalty. This is a challenge in a sector where turnover is high, particularly because pay is low and it is the sector most affected by workplace accidents.
