Italy: energy and oil sector creates new joint structures to manage transformations

On 16 April, the employers' organisation Confindustria Energia and the Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl and Uiltec trade unions signed an agreement renewing the national collective agreement for the energy and oil sector, which covers around 40,000 people, including Italian employees of the giant Eni. The agreement strengthens the joint bodies for managing the energy transition, places emphasis on training and employee well-being, and hands out a record wage increase to compensate for inflation in previous years.
