Home » Industrial relations » National industrial relations » Italy: utility group Hera pens agreement to combine growth and well-being Italy: utility group Hera pens agreement to combine growth and well-being The 'good work pact' (Il patto del buon lavoro), signed in July by the multi-utility group Hera (electricity, gas and water distribution and waste management), aims to guarantee a "just transition" through concrete initiatives in a number of areas. The agreement covers some 10,000 employees of the group, which operates mainly in central and northern Italy, and brings to a close eight months of complex negotiations between Hera and all the relevant branches of the Cgil, Cisl and Uil trade union centres.
