EU: second phase of consultation with social partners on telework and right to disconnect commences

In the second consultation document sent to social partners at the end of July, the European Commission underlined the need for a text or framework on remote work and the right to disconnect. To improve workers' well-being, reduce absenteeism and harmonise national rules, it is moving towards formal recognition of a right to disconnect and minimum rules in the drafting of remote work agreements.
