The agreement also introduces new protections for employees in areas such as the use of artificial intelligence, teleworking, gender equality, diversity and inclusion. It also includes advances in trade union rights and makes UNI Global Union a key partner in the bank's due diligence plan. By Nathalie Tran. Published on 14 November 2024 à 11h55 - Update on 14 November 2024 à 11h55 Resources The new agreement, signed on 4 November by BNP Paribas and UNI Global Union, comes against a backdrop of technological, economic, social and regulatory transformations impacting the banking sector. It reaffirms the commitments contained in the 2018 agreement and introduces new ones, accompanied by precise indicators. The aim is to take account of the “major” issues that have arisen since then, in particular the due diligence plan, the long-term practice of new working methods, combatting inappropriate behaviour and discrimination, promoting diversity and inclusion, and improving the global social pillar.
