The British beauty company Avon is moving under a Brazilian flag. The Sao-Paulo based Natura Cosmeticos aims to purchase Avon (founded in 1886) for more than US$2 billion. With an all-stock offer, Natura shareholders own 76 % of the combined company, and an annual revenue of over US$10 billion. Avon’s shareholders retain 24%. The new combined businesses would have 3,200 stores in 100 countries.
