The low-cost C&A retailer headed by Alain Caparros (1,500 stores in 18 European countries, a subsidiary of the Swiss giant Cofra Holdings) is about to be sold to a group of Chinese investors. It is currently refocusing on China and emerging markets and is exploring opportunities for partnerships and investments with Asian investors. No details have been given about potential bidders.
