The fast-growing furniture retailer Wayfair (net sales of US$6.7 billion in 2018, up by 45%) faces adversity from their employees after the sale of US$200,000 worth of bedroom furniture to a southern border facility for migrant children seeking asylum in the U.S. In late June, the employees walked out followed by a numerous of human-rights and other activists changing the walkout into a demonstration and signs such as “A prison with a bed is still a prison” and “No Way. No Camp”.
