The Danish furniture and homeware brand Jysk (turnover €2.16 billion for financial year 2017/2018) launched its first store in Thailand earlier this year, adding to the 1,249 stores in 20 countries. The conglomerate has released details of ambitious expansion plans for Thailand, opening 30 new stores within 5 years under a franchise with the Thai retailer Boonthavorn Group. Jysk has 6 stores in the pipeline together with a subway station outlet and a new flagship store.
