In November, Austria property group Supernova strengthened its position in Central Europe. It bought 10 shopping malls for €116.6 million from Slovenian retailer Mercator Group. Mercator will continue to rent parts of the malls to operate hypermarkets with a 15-year lease agreement. Since its foundation in 1994, Supernova has successfully implemented over 105 projects in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia. Its portofolio value is now €1 billion.
