The steel group Arcelor Mittal's management and employees' representatives came to an agreement, on April 19, 2007, in Aviles (Spain,) during the fourth negotiation meeting on the establishment of European works council adapted to the group’s new perimeter. (Ref. 070365)
After a proofreading session planned for April 25, the agreement on the EWC will then be submitted to signature by the parties which committed to sign it before May 15. It is supposed to come into effect on July 1.
