Argentina: court blocks decree restricting the right to strike

On 2 June, a first instance judge blocked a decree that severely restricts the right to strike in Argentina. Article three of the presidential decree, published on 21 May, has been suspended on a provisional basis, after a labour court was called upon to rule on the substance of the case.
