On 17 July, Argentina’s government announced an increase in the minimum living wage. From 01 July it will rise more than 31% from 80,342 pesos (€267 at the current official rate) to 105,500 (€351) for “all workers who are paid monthly and complete a full legal working day.” A second uplift of 6.67% is also scheduled for 01 August (rising to 112,500 pesos, equivalent to €374), followed by a third of 5.36% for 01 September (rising to 118,000 pesos, equivalent to €392).
