After an agreement, in May, 2006, on a group work's council and a group union coordination, management of the chemical group Arkema set up a special group of negotiation to create a European works council. It will include the French work's council of the group. (Ref. 06937)
With a total workforce of 18 400 in fourty countries and a turnover of 5.7 billion euros, Arkema is the result of a merger of the chemical branch of TotalFina and that of Elf after the connection of both groups in 1999.
