The social partners in the electronic and electrical engineering industries reached an understanding, on Friday, April 19, for a wage increase between 2.8 and 3.2% depending on the categories. Besides, employees may decide whether they want this increase in the form of remuneration or of free time. This option is particularly targeted at older employees. The agreement, much more moderate than the one signed last year in spite of good results for the sector, will come into force on May 1, 2013. (Ref. 130267)
After the 3rd bargaining round, the representatives of the Pro-GE (industry) and DPA-djp (private sector) reached an agreement on Friday, April 19 with their counterparts from the Association of the Austrian Electrical and Electronics Industries (FEEI), on a gradual wage increase, with lowest wages increasing faster than the rest. Limit salaries for each category in the pay scale as well as apprenticeship pay will increase by 3.2% on May 1. Sectoral minimum wage now amounts t0 €1,618.62. ...
