Heinisch-Hosek, Austrian Minister of Public Service and Women, proposed transferring some of the civil servants from the Österreischiche Post and Telekom Austria to the police. The idea is supported by the Finance Ministry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which has 1,200 vacant positions among its administrative services. The two businesses and unions said they were surprised but willing to look into this proposition, provided that the transfer is operated on a voluntary basis. (Ref. 0907
