During the bank’s AGM, CEO Antony Jenkins confirmed his readiness to open discussions with UNI Global over the introduction of a global living wage. His announcement comes after the bank’s unions along with UNI Global mobilized and called on Barclays to extend its credentials as a UK living wage employer throughout all of the banking group’s entities.
