The economic affairs committee of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium has approved a draft ordinance on economic migration tabled by employment minister Bernard Clerfayt. The aim of the ordinance is to “contribute to the attractiveness and competitiveness of the region by offering foreign workers and employers a simple and coherent legal framework”.
