Belgium: government proposes to increase career length required for end-of-career employment

On 11 April, the Belgian council of ministers approved a draft royal decree that increases the length of career required to benefit from end-of-career employment. Under existing legislation, employees aged 55 and over (50 under certain conditions) can reduce their working hours until the legal retirement age.
