During the National Labour Council which met in a plenary session on March 30, 2007, social partners adopted a labour collective agreement with a view to realizing the first step wanted by the February 2, 2007 interprofessional agreement, to increase of 25 euros the minimum monthly interprofessional gross income for every age group planned by the said labor collective convention. Thus, starting on April 1, 2007, the amount of the minimum monthly income ensured to 21-year-old workers is brought up to 1283.91 euros. The income of workers aged at least 21 years and a half has gone to 1318.61 euros. For workers aged at least 22 the amount is 1334.03 euros. In parallel with this labour collective agreement, the council addressed the notice 1.595 to the government in order to compensate the consequences of the increase in minimum wage on the employers’ and their employees’ so
