Belgium : it will be easier to hire some foreign workers

These simplifications will take place in order to execute the “Busquin” directive (2005/71/CE of October 12^th, 2005) on special admission procedures for research workers in the EU. From now on, workers who come to Belgium to do scientific research will no longer have to obtain a work permit if they work for a well-determined structure (university, institution or company for which the R&D activity is registered by the government).
