Starting April 1st, 2006, unemployed people over 50 who take a new job or establish themselves as self-employed workers, will be entitled to supplementary monthly income. (Réf. 06274)
According to the current legislation, unemployed people 50 years old or over can claim a “back to work” allowance if they re-work as an employee. The monthly supplement amounts to 165,62 Euros and is added to their wages. The five criteria opening right to the “back to work” complement are: 1° to be at least 50 years old; 2° to be unemployed for at least one year; 3° to have 20 years of professional career; 4° not to be entitled to early retirement (pre-pension); 5° not to claim unemployment...
