Belgium: royal decree on the working conditions of mobile workers engaged in interoperable cross-border services in the railway sector

After ratification by the Council of Ministers on November 7, 2008, a Royal Decree which contains rules on certain aspects of the working conditions of mobile workers engaged in interoperable cross-border services in the railway sector, was published in the Belgian Official Journal (Moniteur Belge) on November 10, 2008. The royal decree transposes into Belgian law
directive 2005/47 of July 18, 2005 concerning the agreement between the Community
of European Railways (CER) and the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF).
