Belgium: the Ministry of Labor presents the “Equality/Diversity Labels”

The federal Labor Ministry (Federal Public Service for Employment, Labor and Consultation on Social Matters) organized, on September 17, 2008, the award of the "Equality/Diversity Labels" to the companies which applied for this label, established by the public authorities in 2006 to award organizations which create a policy against discrimination and for diversity. Joelle Milquet, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Employment and Equal opportunities, confirmed that the pilot project Equality/Diversity label, launched in 2006 to fight against discrimination by increasing diversity in companies, would continue.
