Last 24 January, the employees of Volkswagen's Forest factory started a strike because of uncertainties facing the future of the factory. They obtained guarantees, and resumed work on January 29th. (Ref. 070085)

Whereas the negotiations as regards the social aspects which must accompany the reorganization of the Brussels site continued in an extremely tensed atmosphere, the employees of the Volkswagen factory of Forest started a strike on the evening of January 24th , that is to say two weeks and a half after they resumed work after a seven weeks strike.
