The Dutch company Brunel's management signed, on April 13, 2007, an international framework agreement with the international Metalworkers' federation (IMF) and the Australian trade union AMWU. One of the agreement's aim is to determine the working conditions of the employees Brunel posts on sites in Australia. (Ref. 070596)
With this agreement, the Dutch group Brunel (5.300 employees), specialized in the posting of skilled workforce notably for oil prospecting and exploitation, commits to respect fundamental labour standards and refers to the ILO’s conventions on freedom of association, right to collective bargaining, prohibiting discriminations, forced labour and child labour.
