On 26 November, the Bulgarian Council of Ministers, the government’s executive arm, approved a bill aimed at improving the regulatory framework for collective bargaining. This text, which transposes article four of the EU directive on adequate minimum wages, aims to encourage collective bargaining at sector level in order to increase the number of workers covered by collective agreements.
