MPs want to change the Insurance Code about maternity
This week, two MPs from one of the ruling parties, National Movement Simeon Second, will submit to the Parliament a draft law to change the Insurance Code. According to
them, for one year after the child’s birth, the mother should receive 80-90 % of her gross salary (or from the income upon which she has made insurance payments). If the father’s pay is bigger, the mother will receive 80-90 % of his salary. This is fair, said one of the author
