Indeed, since 2006, Carlsberg has been working with Cambrew, in partner in the Cambodian joint venture, and with NGOs such as Care International Cambodia – whose report on the conditions of beer developers, in 2005, put a lot of pressure on the beer multinationals present in the company, leading them to adopt a code of conduct the following year –, to solve this problem. Thus, the company has made another step forward by signing a partnership agreement with the LO union confederation, which was officially announced on August 23. The parties notably commit to work together in the following areas:
