Chile: bill on formal recognition of professional skills adopted

On 18 December, Chile’s Chamber of Deputies unanimously approved a bill designed to strengthen and modernise the national system for certifying professional skills. The aim of this reform is to enable formal recognition of skills, regardless of how they were acquired, in order to improve workers’ employability.
