Companies: benefits and disadvantages of EWCs

After analyzing the direct and indirect costs of a EWC (see our dispatch No. 080674), the study carried out by the GHK Consulting Firm at the request of the European Commission as part of the impact assessment of the revision of the Directive, also reports a few qualitative elements on the benefits and disadvantages of operating an EWC in a company. (Ref. 080678)

In the qualitative area, the study is not as well supplied as the other and the sample of companies which seriously participated in the interview is much smaller (46 companies instead of 70 for actual costs – see our dispatch No. 080674 ). nevertheless, the report brings out a few interesting things.
