In 2005, SEUR, the leading company for urgent transport and integral logistics in Spain, conceived a "Welcome and Integration Plan" targeted at their new staff, as part of its talent retention/anti-turnover strategy. Applying its motto - "There is no second chance for a first impression" -, this program aims to fully integrate new employees in the company as quickly as possible, i.e. as soon as they get in touch with the company. Two primary factors led Seur to implement its Welcome and Integration Plan. First, the plan was devised in order to homogenize welcome and integration practices in the 86 delegations where SEUR operates in Spain and Portugal (6,600 employees on the Iberian Peninsula).
