Mittal Steel launched a vast restructuring plan at its plant located in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, this operation should not lead to any dismissal. Indeed, the firm has offered important financial compensation to workers who volunteer to leave. Operations also involve Vysoke piece Ostrava, a subsidiary of Mittal Steel with who the firm is merging.
