Czech Republic: a law to protect employees from employer’s insolvency.

The Lower Chamber of Czech Parliament has approved an amendment to a bill that will protect employees in cases of employers’ insolvency. The Senate originally returned the legislation back to the Assembly which now voted for the bill again. Now the bill needs to be signed by the President and will become a law after being published in the statute roll.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the new legislation should strengthen employees’ protection. Newly, the job office will be
