Move follows an important rise of the average income rates.
Prague – Average earnings rate that is used to determine compensations for
loss on salary due to a job injury or occupational disease will rise by 5 %,
effective of January 1, 2006. It applies also to compensations paid to
relatives in the case of a fatality. The government took this step in
accordance with the trend in income rates. Increased compensation is addressed
to people whose claim has originated before January 1, 2006, according to the
Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. It does not
