The company is already represented in the Czech Republic; in 1997 the company launched production of television sets in Pilsen, in Western Bohemia. And this would be the place of its next investment as well. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Trade Ivo Mravinac confirmed for E-europnews that Panasonic is planning on creating another 3000 new jobs in Pilsen before the end of 2007 by expanding their existing facilities.
