The Chamber of Deputies, the Lower House of the Czech Parlament, passed a new Labour Code which will replace the current one dated from 1966.The Labour Code is yet to be approved by the right-wing Senate and signed by the President Vaclav Klaus. If the bill is approved, it will come into effect in 2007.
