The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
plans to simplify the current system of social benefits. From January 1, 2007,
there should be three new social benefits that will replace several old ones.
The new ones should be contributions for livelihood, specific immediate help
and financial help for rent. They will replace mostly benefits that were
created ad hoc depending on the then social situation and that are not suitable
