The increasingly thinner border between public and private life coming from social networks – mostly Facebook and Twitter – is modifying the extent of employers’ control over their employees in Denmark. According to a study by Analyse Danmark, published last week in the weekly newspaper of the union confederation, Ugebrevet A4, one in five companies has already implemented a policy on employees’ online behavior. 30% of these firms employ 500+ employees, while only 14% of them have less than 10 employees.
