The HK/Privat congress was held between 01 – 03 November and focused on boosting development of its members professional competencies to make then better able to face the challenges of the changing labor market. The strategy turns on two pillars: individually tailored careers advice and opportunities to improve specific skills for each occupational category represented by the union.
This third congress has turned its attention, for the first time, to strengthening its member’s professional competencies. This is deemed important because of the need for its members’ work to constantly evolve in line with changes in the labor market that are being brought about by new technology, new products, new corporate structures, new corporate cultures, and new management methods.
