Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has called the social partners together for tripartite talks on 11 February. Top of the agenda is how to integrate refugees into the labor market. The social partners also have their list of priorities, with unions focusing on education, training, the lack of traineeships on offer, and the fight against social dumping, whilst employers want to go ahead with reforms that strengthen the country’s competitiveness.
“Creating rapid and easy (little red tape) access to the labor market for asylum seekers with refugee status in Denmark,” is the government’s top priority during the tripartite negotiations due to start on 11 February that will address several themes pertinent to Denmark’s economy.
