Refining controls. Answering the Minister’s questions after the first report published on march 8th on the inefficiency of the measures taken by the Labor Inspectorate, which couldn’t save the Danish employees of the LM Wind Power wind paddles maker (see our dispatch No. 110264) from styrene intoxications, the Labor Inspectorate and the National Institute against Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases think that it isn’t necessary to amend the laws governing the working environment and occupational diseases to improve prevention, but they propose adjusting internal procedures and improving collaboration in some areas.
