After State institutions, schools and public and private training centers now also have to introduce social clauses reserving internship places for professional school students in their tenders. This is one of the concrete initiatives included in the political pact adopted as part of the Finance Act, which notably provides that public tenders should be used to create more apprenticeship places.
“Young people should stop training because they don’t have enough internship places, so we want to ensure that private and public schools take their responsibilities and reserve internship places for interested students,” explained Education Ministers Christine Antorini when she presented the bill on social clauses transposing the deal on the 2013 budget.
