On May 11th, the Danish Parliament approved the most important reform of the working environment act (arbejdsmiljøloven) since it was passed in 1977. The new law “modernizes” the activity of structures in charge of health and safety at work, offering businesses more flexibility to adjust them to their needs. It will be enforced on October 1, 2010.
